“I am going to fix it,” I said. Actually quite often I would tell myself that, and then realized later that it wasn’t going to happen. If you are going to sew, glue, fix SOMETHING, and you haven’t done it in the past month, you probably are not going to do it. Throw it out.
I know that is hard, but throw it out.
It is amazing how much better you feel, because that one thing you had to do is no longer hovering around in your mind taking up room and putting pressure on you. We already have so much going on, why add something that is going to nudge at us?
Broken? No time to fix it? Throw it out.
Do you have a bunch of extra sheets, blankets and towels cluttering your closets? If so, think about donating them to a local shelter or rescue. That’s where we’re headed now, to drop off a truckload of blankets and household cleaners from our customer.
