Even when I am DEAD TIRED I manage to get enough energy for the evening routine. That means an item out of place goes back where it belongs. I load the dishwasher, clean out the sink, straighten the counter, toss mail I don’t need, fold laundry and put away the clothes, straighten pillows and blankets in the living room, store the TV remotes in a drawer, make sure the water dishes for pets are filled, lock all the doors. I straighten everything.
When I get up in the morning I don’t immediately start stressing out because I enjoy the organization of that moment.
It takes practice, but your eye will notice things out of place. And I can’t say I was good at it right away. I had to clean up a number of areas to get it down to something fairly simple that takes about 20 minutes. You can do it too.
Cut the clutter.
